For more than 30 years, Environmental Systems Corporation (ESC) has been a privately held company headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee. We have witnessed the stack emissions compliance industry undergo a number of significant changes, and our historical successes have enabled us to weather the storm.

We began by supplying aerial infrared photography of thermal emissions from power plants, as well as drift and plume testing for cooling towers. We distinguished ourselves by creating specialized drift measurement protocols and became the only firm licensed by the Cooling Tower Institute to perform compliance drift testing. This quickly expanded into ambient air quality monitoring projects for utility and industrial sources, leading to the development of automated data acquisition and reporting systems. Our software became the benchmark for the industry… adopted by 80% of the state and local agencies as the standard for routine electronic reporting of air quality data.

After expanding into a number of vertical markets including continuous emissions monitoring turnkey services, plant performance services, nuclear component validation and regulatory consulting services (to name a few), we recently returned to our core competency… namely the design, manufacture and support of data acquisition system (DAS) software.

We recognize that strong processes produce strong software, and our team of dedicated professionals is committed to creating solid products derived from experience and knowledge. We continue to move into uncharted territory in our industry, widening our range of products and services to include fleet-wide supporting software.
