JACK R. MISSIMER, Ph.D. P.E. PRESIDENT
Dr. Missimer joined ESC in 1981, and has served the company in a number of capacities including Director of the Performance Services Division and Director of Corporate Marketing and Sales.
He became President of ESC in 2003 and has been responsible for ESC’s continued growth as a provider of software and services to meet customer needs for stack flue gas emissions monitoring and reporting. During his tenure as President, he has been instrumental to ESC’s sharpened focus on core competencies such as development and application of monitoring software.
Under Dr. Missimer’s leadership, ESC has greatly shortened the time-to-market for new software applications. Dr. Missimer is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and holds an M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Tennessee.
ADAM ENGLE
VICE PRESIDENT OF ENGINEERING/REGULATORY SERVICES
Adam’s diversified and productive career at ESC began in Project Engineering where he configured ESC software products for the 40 CFR Part 60/40 CFR Part 75 emissions compliance markets - an experience that lead to a broad understanding of regulations.
His ESC career, extending over 10 years, has included management of our after-market engineering services for over six years before taking on the support, training and project groups. In addition, Adam has more than eight years of experience managing projects that require implementation of software into regulatory environments. As Vice President of Engineering/Regulatory Services, Adam is responsible for managing the Engineering, Project Management, Regulatory and Educational Services groups. Adam’s background is essential as ESC embarks on deploying and supporting ESC│StackVision over the next several years.
Adam received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Tennessee in 1999 as an All-American Student Athlete. In 2003, he received an MBA from UT.
JEFF RABENSTEINEVICE PRESIDENT OF SUPPORT SERVICES
Jeff joined ESC in 1988 and has served in many capacities including engineering, project management, business unit management, marketing and sales management, and customer support management during his 20-year tenure with the company. His diverse experience led to a rich understanding of the regulatory and business challenges that our customers face.
As Vice President of Support Services, Jeff manages the Support Services group, ensuring that the team meets customer needs for quality while providing timely and professional assistance for ESC’s software and DAS controller products. In addition, Jeff has served the power generation industry through active participation in a variety of ASME committees and EPRI task groups, including ongoing participation in the ASME’s Performance Test Codes (PTC) Standards Committee and the ASME’s PTC 19.1 Committee on Test Uncertainty.
Jeff is a graduate of The University of Tennessee where he earned a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering.
KATIE LINDBLOMVICE PRESIDENT OF PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Since joining ESC in July 2006, Katie has served in many different roles including field sales representative and Product Manager for ESC│StackVision. As Vice President of Product Development, her current responsibilities include all development aspects of ESC Software and Hardware Products. Katie also leads the Technical Advisory Groups (TAGs), ensuring that customers’ voices are integrated into the ESC development process.
Before joining ESC, she served as Vice President of Software Development and Services, and Product Manager for the DAS product for KVB-Enertec, which was later purchased by GE in 2000. With over 17 years of experience in the CEM DAS industry, Katie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to ESC.
She is a graduate of Millersville University with a B.S. degree in Computer Engineering.
MARK SHELLCHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
During a very productive 26-year career with ESC, Mark has served as a Microprocessor Engineer, Project Manager, Principal Engineer, Director of Engineering, Vice President of Data Systems, Vice President of Operations and Senior Quality Technical Specialist. Among his many achievements is the writing of the majority of the code used in the ESC 8800 Data Logger.
He also designed the hardware for both the 8800 Data Logger and the 8816 Data Controller. Mark has also configured and installed numerous ESC Data Acquisition Systems (DAS) for 40 CFR Part 75 CEMS compliance. Mark has a deep understanding of ESC software and Part 75 regulatory requirements. As Chief Technology Officer, Mark reports directly to the ESC President and is responsible for the technical direction of the company, ensuring that ESC products and processes continue to utilize the latest advances in technology. In addition to these credentials, he has been the ESC representative on the User Group Steering Committee since 1999. Mark’s latest addition to his ESC resume has been leading the RATA Technical Advisory Group (TAG).
Mark received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Tennessee in 1982 and a Masters in Electrical Engineering from UT in 1986.
MICHAEL E. JONES, CPACONTROLLER
Before joining ESC in late 1995 as Assistant Controller, Michael developed valuable financial audit experience. After many successful years with ESC, he was promoted to Controller in 2003 and has since managed the Financial Services Department.
Included in Michael’s many responsibilities are compliance with GAAP, financial reporting and corporate information systems.
He is a graduate of The University of Tennessee with degrees in both Finance (1989) and Accounting (1991). He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1994.
